Theater

 

A weekly after-school class, typically a 10-week session, that introduces songs and scenes from various Broadway and movie musicals.  Workshops will be offered in the fall and the spring and are directed by teaching artists, Angie Serrano and Leasa Thernes. Registration forms and fees are handled through the PSO. Workshop details come out about a month before each session.

Children learn basic performance skills such as theater terminology, healthy singing, dance skills and teamwork required for working on a musical production. The session culminates in a presentation by the students to their family and friends.
