Get ready to blast off for the 2023 Read a Thon, Out of This World!
Students will enjoy exciting activities and log their minutes to earn prizes!

Our annual Read-a-thon is COMING SOON! It will be “Out of this World!” Our students will blast off into a fun week of reading from February 10th-17th to help support our DC Foundation. The Readathon is free for all to participate and is for students from ALL grade levels (younger grades can read or have parents read to them, or both!). We will be hosting the event online with a platform called “FundHub” by Get Movin’ Fundraising, which we have used for Readathon and Deer Dash in the past. It should make supporting your student and your Foundation easy, efficient, and fun for all. Information on the pre-event Book Swap, new reading activities, prizes and more to be coming soon. For now, please start helping your student(s) gather up some ideas for books to read during the event.
